Our Belief:

Alpenglow Hospice believes that the patient is best served in familiar, comfortable, and appropriate surroundings.  For this reasons, patients may receive hospice care in a variety of locations, including their home or at a care center.  While a family member or other caregiver provides daily care, members of the hospice team make regularly scheduled visits to the patient.  When needed, a skilled hospice nurse is available on call, 24 hours a day to provide advice over the phone or to make an emergency home visit if necessary. 

Alpenglow:

Describes a visual phenomenon of a horizontal, pinkish, glowing band of color during either sunset or sunrise. This warm "glow" stirs emotions of surreal slpendor and peace that can radiate through one's soul.
